Why ‘Machi’?

Machi (街) is a Japanese word that translates to ‘town’, depicting a lively atmosphere and vibrant community spirit.

Machi isn’t just about bricks and mortar. It’s about the quirks, the stories, the beating heart of urban life. Of community, of individual journeys, of possibilities. The pulse of memories and potential for the future.

This is the essence of what we are trying to achieve here and why we have decided to call this new employee space Machi.
